    Bio (for inclusion in the member directory): Ron Tabacynski has over 30 years of government affairs and public policy experience that includes, three terms in the Indiana House of Representatives where he served on the Regulatory Flexibility Committee of the Indiana General Assembly which oversaw utility, energy, utilities and telecommunication policy. Prior to joining the Metropolitan Energy Group, he served as the Government Affairs Director for BOMA/Chicago for 14 years where he staffed the Energy and Sustainability Committee and was responsible BOMA/Chicago’s advocacy efforts on state energy and utility legislation. He frequently testified before the Illinois General Assembly on pending energy legislation and helped to secure representation for the commercial real estate industry on the Illinois Smart Grid Advisory Council. He served on the Chicago Zero Net Carbon Strategy Working Group and participated in policy development initiative involving energy benchmarking and building performance standards.
