The Conservatory Apartments, when completed in February 2024, will be the first Passive House Certified Multi-Unit building at scale in the city. Embracing both the then new 2019 Building Code which allowed a 4 story wood frame and new incentives in the State’s Qualified Action Plan (QAP) for Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) a course was charted to balance economics with delivering high performance.
Come and learn about:
1. How the team was able to implement the latest building code for economic tradeoffs
2. Our iterative high performance envelope design process, including a deep dive into wall section details.
3. WUFI Model do and don’t’s
And join us in person, on a tour of the project later in the afternoon to see the end product and hear from the General Contractor about the construction process.
