Illinois Green invites you to a 12 PM Webinar and optional Tour/Happy Hour Add-On to learn how communities and professionals across Chicagoland are adopting and adapting to EV technology at different scales and contexts.

Electric Vehicles (EVs) are growing in popularity thanks to generous incentives, high gas prices, and improved technology. How will developers, designers, and city planners accommodate the demands of this developing industry at the regional, portfolio, and project-level?

Learn how communities and professionals across Chicagoland are adopting and adapting to EV technology at different scales and contexts. Hear panelists exchange insights and approaches to expand EV use across planning, design, and development roles.

Speakers include:

  • Jane Wilberding, Senior Mobility Manager at HNTB
  • Edith Makra, Director of Environmental Initiatives at the Metro Mayors Caucus
  • Matt Ayers, Account Executive at Chargepoint

LEED professionals may self report 1 CE hour for this program! We will send self reporting instructions to all attendees after the program.

Optional Add-on: If you’d like to see an EV Charging Station in-person, join us later in the day at Sterling Bay’s 333 N Green to have a look at their set up.

Then, feel free to join us across the street to Punchbowl Social for drinks and appetizers! Apps will be provided, drinks are on your own tab.
