Illinois Green Schools Project: Celebration Event 2024

Join Illinois Green Alliance to celebrate the Illinois Green Schools Project 2023-24 Cohort! Since October, the participating schools have been hard at work identifying, planning, and implementing low-to-no cost sustainability projects for their schools and communities.

This year’s winning schools are:

1st Place Middle School: Decatur Classical School
1st Place High School: Libertyville High School
Path to Net Zero Waste: Marion High School
Path to Net Zero Water: Grace Holistic Center for Education
Path to Net Zero Energy: Urbana High School
Rookie of the Year: St Paul Lutheran School – Austin
Engagement Award: Carl von Linné Elementary School
Judges’ Choice: Uplift Community High School
