Join us on November 14, 2023 at the Old Post Office for our second annual Getting to Zero Illinois Summit, followed by our annual Limelight Gala & Emerald Awards Ceremony!
The Summit:
Join us from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM for a half-day summit on net zero buildings includes a catered lunch, panels and info sessions, as well as time to network with other professionals working in the net zero design space. Attendees will learn how to make the business case for net zero buildings in Illinois, lessons learned from case studies, and discuss opportunities to bring net zero to the front of the building industry conversation.
The Summit welcomes policymakers, designers, building owners, systems manufacturers, and commercial real estate professionals to share best practices and collaborate on opportunities to scale zero energy and zero carbon projects in the region. Learn more about the Summit.

Limelight:
Join us from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM to share a fun evening with members, friends, sponsors and many other professionals from the sustainability industry. Enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a grand prize raffle, and networking.
The awards reception and fundraiser bring together an amazing mix of the region’s top industry leaders working in the sustainability field and is an important opportunity to recognize the latest achievements in green building design, technology, and innovation in Illinois. This year’s event supports Illinois mission to bring all buildings on the path to net zero in Illinois.

Scholarship Application
This year, Illinois Green Alliance is excited to offer complimentary tickets to eligible applicants on behalf of our donors and sponsors.
Eligibility:
- There is no age/experience limit to apply.
- Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Work for a nonprofit, government, or be an enrolled student in a higher education or trades program; OR
- Are actively developing/designing a net zero affordable housing or community project
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis beginning on October 20, 2023. There are a limited number of scholarship tickets available.
