Bring CABO to Chicago

Join the Illinois Green Alliance Auxiliary Board on Thursday, April 25 for the Bring CABO to Chicago event and learn how you as a building professional can show your support for Chicago’s Clean and Affordable Buildings Ordinance (CABO) – an important legislation under consideration by Chicago City Council that would serve as a major step forward in safeguarding public health, lowering gas utility bills, and decarbonizing Chicago’s building stock

This free event will convene sustainable building professionals, policy advocates, and local elected officials to organize in support of CABO’s passage. Bring CABO to Chicago will include educational sessions on CABO-related policy, educational resources, and information on ways in which you can become a CABO advocate. 

Bring CABO to Chicago will be held at the Illinois Green Alliance office, located at 180 N La Salle St #2210, Chicago, IL 60601 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Complimentary food and drinks will be included. 

Lastly, in respect to the acronym “CABO” and its shared name with the popular beachtown of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Bring CABO to Chicago will be beach themed! So, although not required, feel free to join members of the Illinois Green Alliance Auxiliary Board and come dressed in your favorite resort chic/tropical attire (e.g. warm colors, tropical shirts, casual and breezy fabrics. Swimsuits excluded.)
