Illinois Green seeks to increase industry knowledge on the path to net zero buildings through programs that empower others to take action. Our programs strive to inform all industries interested in green building (building owners, managers, engineers, designers, occupants, residents, and more) by creating programs focused on:

• Shared best practices around high performance and healthy buildings.
• Challenges and successes that move the green building market and policies toward a net zero future in Illinois.
• Removing barriers to implementation of building decarbonization.
• Demonstrating how high performance technology and building methods are possible anywhere.
  

The Illinois Green Alliance Programs Committee and staff seek speakers with expertise across the green building industry to participate in education sessions for Illinois Green webinars, tours, and workshops. Illinois Green seeks to increase industry knowledge by connecting members to real places and stories from local projects. We encourage building tour sessions to call on a diverse guide group of experts and promote dialogue about the subject matter between tour and audience members.
