Ryan joined Illinois Green Alliance in summer 2023 as the Policy and Communications Associate. He works to advance building decarbonization policy, promote net zero buildings, and support communications & marketing efforts.

Before joining the team, Ryan worked at the Cook County Forest Preserve as a Policy Fellow. In this role, he researched and developed Forest Preserve policy across a variety of subjects including sustainability, equity, and more. Previously, he interned with the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative and Illinois PIRG. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy.

Ryan is a bookworm, a soccer fanatic, and an avid concert go-er. During his time off, he can be found spending quality time with his fiancé, Maddie, and cats, Daisy and Poppy. Even in his free time, he loves to learn more about building a more sustainable world.
