Patty Lloyd

Patty has over 20 years of experience advancing green building and healthy-high performing construction within her firm and the industry at large.   As Leopardo Construction’s Director of Sustainability she oversees corporate sustainability and sustainable projects.  She has been volunteering for over 15 years supporting organizations that share her values on climate, decarbonization, equity, and environment.  Currently, she chairs the LEED Design & Construction Consensus Committee and serves on the LEED Steering Committee.  She participates in national and regional sustainable construction leaders peer networks.  She also served on the USGBC MR TAG and the LEED Technical Committee.  

 

She has had a long history of volunteerism with Illinois Green Alliance, first volunteering in 2009, then serving on a number of committees, like the Green Schools Committee, the Programs Committee, Membership committees and more.  She served on the Board of Directors for five years, chairing it in 2018. In 2021 she was awarded the inaugural Heart of Illinois Green Award.  Through her career she has contributed to numerous task forces and working groups and holds several credentials, including LEED Fellow, WELL AP, and LFA. She earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental management from Columbia Southern University and a Masters in Sustainable Management from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside.
