With nearly 10 years in the energy efficiency industry, Justin's career has included responsibilities with key focus on contractor relationships, site audits, and program development. Justin pursued obtaining his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certificate in 2023 to bolster his understanding of Energy Efficiency across the world.

Prior to joining Evergreen Energy Partners, Justin was a Product Manager at Verde Energy Efficiency Experts. In this role he was responsible for evaluating each of the products used in lighting and HVAC energy efficiency projects throughout Verde's portfolio in Chicagoland. This included Pricing Management, Quality Control and training sales staff on the features of each new product brought into inventory.

Justin joined Illinois Green Alliance as a volunteer in 2020 and has been a Sustainable Facilities Mentor, a member and Co-Chair of the Auxiliary Board, and a Green Schools Mentor in his time. All of these experiences led Justin to love the mission of Illinois Green Alliance even more than when he first joined and continue on to join the Board of Directors in 2025.

He received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and a minor in Political Science at the University of Missouri-Columbia and continues to pursue educational opportunities in the Sustainability space.
