Train the next energy efficiency leaders through the Youth Energy Efficiency Ambassadors Program. The program aims to educate youth on the smart grid, renewable energy, and home energy efficiency through hands-on training and energy career connections, after which they become local energy efficiency advocates.

During the 2019-2020 school year, Illinois Green is expanding the Youth Energy Efficiency Ambassador program to work with 3-5 high schools. This is a free program for CPS high school teachers and their students.
