On Thursday, May 30, 2019, the Illinois Green Alliance and City Energy Project brought people together from around the city to talk about renewable energy programs and energy efficiency opportunities during the third Energy Efficiency Idea Exchange Workshop! Nineteen people came to the Garfield Park Fieldhouse to hear from Illinois Green, the City of ChicagoComEd, Chicago PACE, Community Investment Corporation, Elevate Energy, and Citizens Utility Board, and learn more about renewable energy programs, financing opportunities for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, and building tune-up programs like retro-commissioning. In addition to small group break-out discussions about those topics, attendees heard from the Chicago Housing Authority about a solar project they are working on at one of their facilities. Thanks to all who attended, we hope you found the morning information and left with good information to take back to your buildings!
