On Thursday, March 14, 2019, the Illinois Green Alliance and City Energy Project for the City of Chicago co-hosted their second Energy Efficiency Idea Exchange Workshop! Twenty-two people came to the Chicago Urban League to hear from Illinois Green, the City of Chicago, ComEd, Peoples Gas, Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), Slipstream, Chicago PACE, Elevate Energy, and Faith in Place, and learn more about energy efficiency programs, analysis tools, and financing opportunities available to buildings in the city for their energy efficiency projects. In addition to small group break-out discussions about those topics, attendees had an opportunity to hear from the Director of Operations for Trinity United Church of Christ about their energy efficiency and sustainability journey and the projects they have completed at their house of worship. Thanks to all who participated, we hope you left with great information and some items on which to follow-up!
