On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, the Illinois Green Alliance and City Energy Project for the City of Chicago co-hosted their first Energy Efficiency Idea Exchange Workshop! Twenty-four people came to Malcolm X College to hear from Illinois Green, the City of Chicago, ComEd, Peoples Gas, CEDA, and Faith in Place, and learn more about energy efficiency. In addition to being able to learn and network about programs for their building type, attendees heard about The Chicago Urban League‘s Green Team and their energy efficiency journey and were able to learn about energy efficiency topics like building tune-ups, energy assessments, lighting, and water. Thanks to all who participated, we hope you left with great information and some items on which to follow-up!
Keep an eye out for more events like this in 2019!
