This year our membership and board worked hard to craft and approve a by-laws update that made several strategic changes aimed at improving our reach as an organization. Our commitment to the Epic Challenge and carbon drawdown strategies is taking us into new neighborhoods to help restore the environment, create jobs and advance human health.

The elections committee would like to thank all of the members who submitted their names for consideration. In 2019, there are three open board seats. Per Illinois Green bylaws, one seat has been elected directly by a full vote of the 2018 Board of Directors and the two remaining open seats will be elected by the membership.

We are pleased with the nominations received this year from members who would like to serve in leadership positions. The following nominees have been selected as the candidates for the membership to cast their votes and elect the two remaining open board seats for 2019. Elections open on November 1, 2018 and close on November 30, 2018 at 11:45 PM CST.

All active members will receive a direct link via a separate email to cast their votes.  If you did not receive a ballot contact Joan Martin for assistance.
