    Bio (for inclusion in the member directory): Michelle is the founder of The Green Facilitator and founding partner of UpFront Regenerative Design, where she facilitates strategic planning and integrative design process for organizations seeking to address global environmental imperatives and create thriving communities. During her 25-year sustainability career, she has managed LEED and WELL certification projects and energy benchmarking for small developers, world-class institutions, and Fortune 500 companies. Michelle has collaborated on green building ordinances, prototype specifications, and design guidelines for public and private clients. In her long history as an educator, she served as USGBC Faculty for 12 years, and currently serves as WELL Faculty and adjunct faculty at Northwestern University. Her awards include the first Chapter Leader award for Illinois Green and their Emerald Award for Intent to Matter, and she is a member of the inaugural class of LEED Fellows.
