Efficient Chicago is about ensuring every neighborhood in Chicago has access to resources and the most up-to-date information about energy efficiency and sustainability!

In addition to technical assistance programs like the Neighborhood Power Project, and our staff- and volunteer-led community building support, Illinois Green also partners with organizations to host Idea Exchange Workshops for buildings and organizations interested in learning more about energy programs, sustainable operations, and other topics.

Typically, these workshops give attendees an opportunity to hear from Illinois Green and their co-host, and then break out into small groups to discuss sustainability-related topics with industry experts. Read below about a few of our past workshops.
